Change Password

If you want to change the password you were sent or if you do not know your password, you can change your account password from http://gitca.org/accountmanager

Add Users

If you are the administrator of a hosted site and want to add new users, you can do so at http://accounts.gitca.org/newaccount.aspx.

Once you have created the new user, you can then assign them permissions through the standard SharePoint administration interface. (Site Actions->Site Settings->People and Groups)

Open your site so anyone can see it

Sites are set up with restricted permission - you need to add users to the site membership (see above). If you want to set your site so that anyone can access it without having to log in, you can do so from the SharePoint administration interface. (Site Actions->Site Settings->Advanced Permissions->Settings->Anonymous Access)

Request a SharePoint site

To request a new SharePoint site for your user group, please send an email to technical@gitca.org with the following information: -

  1. User Group Name
  2. Requested name for the SharePoint site (e.g. http://ug.culminis.com/sites/MyUserGroup)
  3. Name, email address and GITCA user id for the person who will manage the SharePoint site. (e.g. Culminis\MyUserID)   (Note that "Culminis" is still the domain name at present)

Current status of GITCA Hosted SharePoint web sites.

  • All Sites are operating normally.

If you are having technical issues, please send an email to technical@gitca.org. Please include as much detail as possible on the issue you are having, including account names, error messages, URLs and steps to recreate the issue if possible.
