Marcos Nogueira, Regional Chair, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Global Board

With more than 12 years’ experience in Windows Server System, Marcos is currently working as a Senior Consultant & Virtualization Evangelist of Microsoft IT Solutions at Novabase .

Specialist in Windows Server System, with a focus on AD, Virtualization and Management (with SCVMM, Hyper-V and VMWare), had directly collaborated in several migration projects in Portugal and Brazil with many Microsoft partners in the EMEA and LATAM region (with products such as Windows Server, Exchange 2007, SharePoint 2007, MOM 2005, SMS 2003, SCE, SCCM, SCOM, Hyper-V, Virtual Server 2005, VMWare ESX, BDD among others).

He had directly collaborated with Microsoft Brazil in the development of workshops and special events with products such as System Center Essentials 2007 (SCE), Exchange 2007, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista among others, and as a speaker at several TechNet events.

Besides everything he is MCT since 2003, training in several Microsoft Gold Partners in Portugal and contributes with several articles and publications in various blogs and communities. Marcos funded and current leads 2 communities in Portugal (getCERTIFIED and getVIRTUAL) and one of the founders and leaders of MCT EUROPE UG.

Rolf Masuch, Treasurer

Rolf Masuch is a German MCT and Product Manager for Active Business Software Consultancy a German Consulting Firm. Recognized across Germany, Austria and Switzerland as the Leader of the PowerShell German User Group, he is also known as a capable Exchange consultant and Trainer. He started working with Microsoft Exchange in 1996. Since then he trained many Messaging Administrators. He also designed and implemented both smaller and larger Installations of Microsoft Exchange over the years. His Specialties involve PowerShell, Windows Server 2008 and Exchange Server 2007.

Participant in several Microsoft Programs: ITPro Momentum, Leadership Challenge, Community Terminology, Subject Matter Expert, Connect Partner Research Panel. Member of SE Club. He is a member of the GITCA GLOBALTechnical Team. PASS Program Committee for 2010 & co-leader PASS SQL Azure Virtual Chapter. Leader of Polish SQL Server User Group in Wroclaw (Poland), is a speaker in the IT community meetings and conferences. Member of several community groups: Polish SharePoint Group, Microsoft Security Solutions User Group, Women in Technology, Comunidad de SharePoint de habla hispana. Collaborating with the publisher Apress (New York) for technical reviews, also publishes its own reviews and articles. Owner of ITPro blog [PL] about general ICT and some others blogs about: licensing [PL], clouds services [PL], music [PL & EN]] as well as a private blog. In addition to the work involved in music journalism (reviews, interviews, news, promotion). He is interested in concert photography, hiking, and emergency medicine and oncology.
