All GITCA user groups are entitled to a free hosted Windows SharePoint Services web site. To request your site, please review the information on the Technical Support page on this site.
GITCA LiveMeeting Accounts
Every GITCA user group is eligible for a LiveMeeting account at no cost. To apply for one, please send an email to Technical@GITCA.org with the following information: -
First Name
Last Name
LiveMeeting UserID you would like
Email Address
Time Zone
User Group Name
Please note that when your account is provisioned, which can take a week or so, an automated email will be sent to the Email address provided. Please ensure that admin@livemeeting.com is not blocked by your email provider.
TechNet Plus Direct Online subscriptions
Until the end of 2009, each GITCA user group is eligible for a free TechNet Direct Online subscription from Microsoft. To apply for yours, please see the full announcement here.
Funding for your user group meeting
All GITCA user groups are eligible to apply for funding to help with their user group meetings. To apply, you need to go to www.usergroupsupportservices.com, register your group, and register your meeting. As you register your meeting, you can request funding for that event. Note that there are limits to the funding available which are detailed on the site, and you should not rely upon the request being granted until you get confirmation.
